"It has often been said in recent years that good service is dead or,at best, very had to find. Not so!!! All one has to do is travel to Snug Harbor Boats in Buford, GA to find exceptional service, professionalism and unsurpassed knowledge about sailboats and sailing.
The internet made it possible for me to learn about this extraordinary firm tucked away in an upscale little hamlet just north of Atlanta. I had spent countless months researching which sailboat would let me get back into my favorite pastime after a hiatus of nearly 25 years (you know, rearing children, family obligations, job commitments, etc.). The Com Pac line of boats seemed to have the design and quality I wanted. Snug Harbor had the particulat model I was interested in. After a quick email and a phone call, I was making plans to go see the boat on their lot. Arnold Horn made everything about the process so easy. I asked for additional photos before making a 600 mile trip and he obliged. I asked for more information and he delivered. Throughout the entire process, Arnold was a model of personality and professionalism. Once we agreed on the purchase, Roger Aspinwall handled the test sail and assured that the boat and trailer were in perfect order and ready for the long trip home.

"What a fantastic purchase I made at Snug Harbor! I was in the market to buy my first sailboat. My wife finally said "yes" to buying a boat, and I had to strike "while the iron was still hot." So, I had seen the good folks at Snug Harbor Boats on the internet and have driven by a couple of times. Then, I sent in an email to them and received a quick reply from Arnold Horn. He's one of the awesome sales team members who invited me over. When we first met, I had plans to buy a 27' Lancer. Arnold listened to my desires, needs, and requests. He took notes, and then he looked through their inventory, and "voila!" He found exactly what I was looking for.
I bought a 22' Catalina. A gorgeous boat that I can grow into. Had I bought another sail boat at this time, I would have been so unhappy. That's why Snug Harbor Boats is the place to buy your next boat. They listen! These folks will not try to cram "today's special" down your throat. Their philosophy is simple, make and keep the customer happy, and the customer will be back for their next boat down the road.

"After making the decision to get back into sailing I determined my requirements and searched for a trailerable boat I could sail single handed in our local lake (Barren River Lake, KY) with lots of shallow water and creeks. The Com-Pac Sun Cat fit the bill perfectly. Upon searching the net I soon realized the demand for this boat to be greater than the supply. And so, I was very pleased to locate an apparently clean and well maintained 2002 model on your web site. However, the best surprise was yet to come in the form of the outstanding courtesy and accomodation I received from Ann, Arnold and David during my negotiation and purchase of the boat. Everyone went above and beyond the call of duty to make certain that all of my concerns were addressed and questions answered. David spend three hours checking and servicing both the boat and trailer to insure that I was ready for the long trip home. Exemplary service for the purchase of a modestly priced used boat! "After watching this website for around 3 years, the time was finally right for me to consider buying a sailboat. I contacted Ann and was invited into the office to discuss my boat wants and needs. I found Ann to be a very considerate person, who is a great listener. She recommended some boats for me to see, based on what I told her.
Later I looked at a few boats with David, who also offered sound advice about each boat, as well as what the local marinas had to offer.
I also discussed my options with Roger and Arnold, who were both very experienced "straight shooters."
I eventually bought a 1977 Ericson 32. I absolutely LOVE it! Snug Harbor's teamwork helped me find a sailboat that was a perfect fit for me, my family, and my budget, thus making this one of the best summers of my life.
